1. On the homepage, you will notice this at the top of the page.
You can type in any key words you want to search for like the name or type of business (dentist) or restaurant (Italian restaurant) you are trying to find. After you entered your search string, you may also select one of the three categories by selecting the specific question search of To Stay, To Do or To Meet to focus your search. Go ahead and type anything in and see what it pulls up.
You will see this in the top right corner of webpage. If you have already registered, type your online name and password to login or select register to create a Free customer account.
Your online name is what name you want the Travectory system to identify you with. We recommend you to use your first name + your last name. For example John Smith will have a online name of "johnsmith".
2. If you have not registered, take a minute and click here register.
If you have not yet registered with Travectory, you will not be able to use many of the advanced features of the system like creating your personal webpage and seeing more information only available to registered users. Take advantage of the FREE registration with Travectory.com to fully experience the full benefit of our services.
3. You will see these tabs on the top of the webpage.
If you click on “WhatToDo” it will bring up this box:
Keyword Search --Type in any keywords that describe the information you are looking for.
City -- What city do you need the info for?
Category -- Optional. Pick a business category.
Group -- Optional. Subgroup for category.
Area -- Optional. Area within city.
Specials -- Optional. i.e.1/2 off? What specials are you looking for?
English -- Optional. Are you looking for an English service? Or all services?
Business # -- If you know the business number, simply type it in here and hit search.
You can even leave all but one field blank and it will bring up all the search results that fit what you searched for.
If you click on “WhereToStay” it will bring up this box:
Country -- Optional. Which country are you looking for real estate in?
Prov/State -- Optional. Type in province or state for the area you are searching.
City -- Optional. Pick a city or type one in the lower box.
Area -- Optional. Type an area within the city, if you are familiar with the areas.
Style/Bedrooms/Focus -- Optional. Hotel? Cottage? Condo? Acreage? Etc. How many bedrooms? Are you focusing on For Sale? For Rent? Both?
Listing # -- If you know the listing number, just simply type it in here and hit search.
You can even leave all but one field blank and it will bring up all the search results that fit what you searched for.
4. If you have registered, you will see 3 additional tabs starting from the left after you login:
"MyServices" will bring up a page where you can add a property or business listing. If you wish to add a property listing, click "Add" under "Property Listings". If you wish to add a business listing, click "Add" under "Business Listings".
After you have clicked "Add", enter the pertinent business information, and upload a picture using the simple interface. Then click "Save and Exit" and your listing is uploaded into the system. One of our quality control specialists will review the listing as soon as possible and publish your listing. If you wish to view your listing immediately after creating it, click on "MyServices" and on your listing, click "View".
After you created a Business or Property listing, you will see a link under View (to view your listing), Edit (to update the data entry form for the new listing) and Page Builder (you can only update the custom webpage for the listing after you have added a listing). To simplify access to the webpages you have just posted online and to tell customers or friends about where and how to find this information, your webpages will havea shortcut which you can put on business cards and other printed material for them to find you as follows:
For a Business listing: www.travectory.com/B###.htm where ### is the customers business listing number.
For a Real Estate listing: www.travectory.com/RE###.htm where ### is the real estate listing number.
For a personal webpage: www.travectory.com.com/MySpaces/[CustomerChoosenName].htm where it is customer decided in a sub group called MySpaces.
Alternatively, you can use the "Share" button from each of the 3 types of listing links and enter your name if and all the email addresses you want to send the link to with a custom message. Give it a try after you created your listing.
5. "MyAccount" will bring up your registration information and lists the fields that you want to make public in your personal webpage. You can edit this at any time.
From here, you can change your password and update your information for your personal webpage. Selecting the boxes with the check mark will make those fields available on your personal webpage for viewing and is available to be searched when someone does a "To Meet" search for you. Once you entered a "Webpage Name", (please make sure you have NO SPACES in your webpage name as the link will not be generated if you have spaces or reseved system characters in your webpage name) you will be given the unique link only available to you as http://www.travectory.com/MySpaces/[WebpageName].htm
To complete building your personal webpage after you have the data entry portion completed, select "MyWebpage":
From here, you can select the simple tool bar to edit your personal webpage. If you like to edit in HTML format, please select the "HTML" tab at the bottom left. The menus are described as follows from left to right:
Top Menu: Cut | Copy | Paste | Undo | Redo | Font Selection | Font Size | Bold Text | Italics Text | Underline Text | Subscript Text | Superscript Text | Text Color | Fill Color
Middle Menu: Left Text Justification | Right Text Justification | Centered Text | Justified Text | Numbered List | Point List | Left Indent | Right Indent | Hyperlink | Remove Hyperlink | Picture Import (JPG or GIF) | Insert Special Charater | Insert Flash | Format Stripper | Show/Hide Borders
Bottom Menu: Insert Table | Insert Row | Delete Row | Insert Cell | Delete Cell | Insert Column | Delete Column | Merge Column Right | Merge Column Bottom

Use the "Format Stripper" 
if you copy content from MS Word or other word processor to remove none HTML compliant coding.

Use the "Insert Image" 
to import JPG or GIF images from your computers hard disk. Resize and move image around after you added the image. Select and right click on the image to bring up the image properties. From image properties, add a border of at least 1 and Hspace of Vspace of at least 1 and select the align position to be able to move the image around the page.

Use the "Insert Table" 
to build a more complex webpage with column and row grid for information.
To simplify your webpage creation, you may go to your favorite webpage anywhere on the internet and as long as it is not flash content, you can select from that webpage the content you want like you do in a work processor by holding the left mouse from where you want to start to where you want to end; right click you mouse after you selected and pick copy; goto your page builder, click the mouse in the white space for building a webpage; righ click your mouse over the page builder space and select "Paste" and you will be shown the following menu:
From here, select "Paste with images" and you now have a replica of your favorite webpage which you can edit for personal use. Please make sure you only copy a webpage to obtain the formatting. We are obligated to respect the rights of the content of others.
6. For those of you with priviledge of being assigned a sales manager capability, you will see this addtional interface witihn MyServices:
This Sales Manager filter will allow you to manage your customer accounts and business and property listings that have been assigned to you in the referral or as a sales manager from the customer account that created the business or property listing. Selecting "Search" without any filters will list all your accounts and listings. Selecting "Follow Ups" will list from the earliest date that you set in the Customer Account CRM (customer relations manager) system to the latest of customers that you need to do work for like contacting them at a specific date. The Sale's Manager's features are in constant improvement as we help our agents better service their customers.

Information can be found all around the webpage. The top section of the page has 4 banners that high information that may be of interest to you. You can also select one of four languages supported by Travectory.com - English, Spanish, Japanse and Chinese. If you are login, it will also show who you are login as with the online name displayed. The Make this your homepage and Bookmark this page makes it easier for your to find travectory.com again using your web browser.
