CITY TOUR
Empezamos el recorrido en el norte de la ciudad mostrando el complejo turístico de Marina Vallarta, su zona residencial, el campo de golf y en el club de yates tomamos una breve caminata para toma de fotografías.
Continuamos hacia el centro de la ciudad pasando por el Pitillal, Ave. Francisco Villa (Camino viejo), Ave. México y Malecón, bajamos en el caballito de mar, para todos en grupo hacer una caminata de información de los monumentos, símbolos y edificios importantes; tales como el Palacio Municipal y la Iglesia principal de la Ciudad, también en este punto del recorrido se incluye tiempo para compras en una tienda del área la cual cuenta con baños limpios y bebidas gratis o en el Mercado Municipal.
Ya en el regreso a la unidad de transporte pasamos por el Jardín Botánico de la Isla del Río Cuale y un puente colgante, en este punto mostramos de la distancia la casa “Kimberly”, (La casa de Elizabeth Taylor). Después viajamos hacia el sur de la bahía, pasando por la zona residencial de Costa de Oro y Conchas Chinas, el mirador de los Arcos o las Peñas, haciendo paradas breves para toma de fotos, ya en Mismaloya visitamos el sep de “La Noche de la Iguana” (primera película filmada en Puerto Vallarta), con opción de bebidas y fotografías, por último nos adentramos un poco a la montaña y paramos en el restaurant* para comer (opcional), al terminar regresamos a sus respectivos hoteles.
We’ll start this tour showing you the tourist complex called, Marina Vallarta. Its residential zone as well as the Golf Course and Yatch Club. A quick walk would be next for pictures time and sightseeing.
Next we’ll go to the downtown area going through the Pitillal district by the Francisco Villa Avenue.(old Vallarta’s Main Road) Mexico Ave. and Malecon. Where we’ll stop in the Sea Horse for a brief informational walk about the monuments in the area as well as the symbols and important buildings such as the; Municipal Palace and the City’s Cathedral. We’ll also give information about the City stores from the most popular one to the most fancy & exclusive one. (Considering time for some shopping in a store nearby with clean restrooms and free drinks @ the Market).
After these refreshments we’ll now head south of the bay, going through the residential zone(Costa de ORO & Conchas Chinas, Mirador de los Arcos) Making brief stops for picture taking. Once in Mismaloya we’ll show you the Set of the “Night of the Iguana” (first movie filmed here in Puerto Vallarta). As our appetite increases we head to the tequila factory to know a little about the process and elaboration of the tequila & raicilla, of course with the splendid invitation to taste one or all of the house tequilas. At last but not least we’ll stop a a restaurant in the middle of Vallarta’s Tropical Jungle to enjoy our meal(optional). Then we come back to our respectives hotels.
