Take a ride on the Princess Yelapa, across the stunning beauty of the Bay of Banderas. The beautiful view of Puerto Vallarta from the bay is something you should not miss. We have an expert tour guide on the Princess that will point out areas of interest as we cruise in the bay. We cruise close to downtown Puerto Vallarta and Los Arcos, so bring your camera for the spectacular views.
Lose yourself in the relaxing cruise, watch the sea life play in the wake of the boat, the playful dolphins, jumping fish, manta rays, stingrays, sea turtles, and seabirds. During the winter season, the bay is full of sea turtles, dolphins, giant manta
rays, and humpback whales. In the interesting area of Majahuitas, we stop for a bit of snorkeling. This is an unspoiled area of natural beauty on the southern coast of Banderas Bay. The marine life here is very diverse and you will thrill to see the colorful life in this area.
Majahuitas offers one of the best snorkeling excursions and one of the most beautiful coves in the Bay of Banderas. Clear emerald waters and golden sand make this a true gem for the wandering tourist. an unspoiled area of natural beauty on the southern coast of Banderas Bay. Only
accessible by sea, Majahuitas is the island beach of your dreams. Swaying palms, white sands and a sheltered cove with crystal clear waters
and gentle surf, Majahuitas offers ideal conditions for snorkeling and swimming. Then it's on to Yelapa, the beautiful exotic village that is quite isolated from the rest of the world. Set in its own natural cove, Yelapa is the lost paradise that you simply have to visit. Since there are no reasonable roads that lead to the area, this villiage is accessible by boat trip across the bay, where you will have the chance to see dolphins and humpback whales during the winter. This is a true escape from civilization.
If you like to kayak,
parasail, or ride banana boats, you can do that too at Yelapa. Take a
horseback ride to the waterfall and enjoy the beauty of this untouched
region. Sample one of the local restaurants, where it is reputed that
some of the best Tortilla Soup of the region can be found. Back on the
ship, you can take part in games and other fun activities we provide. All in all, there's something for everyone on this cruise. Enjoy Costa Vallarta. Book your tour today!
This tour runs from Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am from Marina Vallarta, and 7:55 am from Nuevo Vallarta. It lasts 7 and a half hours.
Princess Yelapa is equipped with an open bar, which provides you with continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
We provide the snorkeling gear, expert guides for the trip, bilingual guides to show the way, dancing music, and onboard games and activities.
The Downtown Yelapa tour, banana boat rides, parasailing, and horseback riding are of course optional and you are on your own to take these tours.
Please remember to bring a swimsuit, a towel, sunblock (preferably 30 SPF or higher), a camera, and if you experience issues with sea sickness, please take Dramamine at least one hour before departure.
